Tom, hailing from Scotland, the renowned birthplace of golf, was fortunate to grow up in the captivating Highlands and Morayshire region, surrounded by an abundance of exceptional golf courses. With a father who was an avid golfer, Tom’s fascination with the sport was ignited at a tender age. Living on a family-owned golf course, he dedicated himself wholeheartedly to honing his skills and progressing rapidly.

Throughout his junior golf journey, Tom demonstrated exceptional talent, swiftly triumphing in tournaments across various age divisions, proudly representing his county, and achieving an impressive handicap of +1. These remarkable accomplishments solidified his conviction that golf would be his chosen profession.

In 2012, as Tom embarked on his professional golfing career, he concurrently pursued a PGA Golf Professional qualification at the esteemed University of Birmingham in the United Kingdom. Throughout his three-year tenure, he received invaluable guidance and training from David Torrance, one of Scotland’s preeminent golf coaches, at the prestigious Championship Links golf course, Nairn Dunbar Golf

While competing in professional golf tournaments throughout the United Kingdom, Tom simultaneously embarked on a coaching career during his downtime between events. His exceptional skill in analyzing golf swings and his natural talent for enhancing players’ games became evident as he achieved remarkable success with his students. This realization led him to acknowledge his true calling: fostering the development of the next generation of golfers.

In 2016, Tom was presented with a prestigious opportunity to serve as a PGA Teaching Professional at the esteemed David Leadbetter Indoor Golf Academy in Bangkok. This role allowed him to train under the tutelage of the world’s most highly regarded golf instructor, David Leadbetter. Throughout an intensive year-long program comprising 12 levels of Leadbetter Certification, Tom exhibited remarkable dedication and became one of the youngest certified instructors in the world to bear the David Leadbetter name.

Continuing his journey of growth and knowledge, Tom consistently seeks to expand his coaching expertise by studying and collaborating with other renowned professionals in the golf industry. His clientele now encompasses golfers of all skill levels, as he adeptly tailors his communication approach to suit each individual.
